The Bachelorette's Chris Lambton Finds Love

Sorry ladies but Chris Lambton is off the market for now.

Chris Lambton might have not found love with the Bachelorette's Ali Fedotowsky but he has found love with another Bachelorette! Peyton Wright appeared on Bachelor Pad and The Bachelor (Andy Baldwin season) and later turned down Jesse Beck during Bachelor Pad. Chris Lambton tells People Magazine that the couple met during a Bachelor reunion party in the summer. Peyton tells People: "It's one of those things where I've had a ton of serious relationships and I met this kid and he was genuine, outgoing and hilarious and we just click."

Hey Everyone!

Sorry for the late post. Next week, my posts will be on time and very different then my ABC Fashion blog! This week, I moved to a different apartment, and I've been entirely too busy to even breathe!

Within the first 5 minutes of this episode, we hear Michelle freak out about her black eye. She thinks it's due to stress, which I can totally understand. I mean, it is SO STRESSFUL being waited on hand and foot all day while living in a mansion full of alcohol, fun girls, and vying for some hot dudes attention. Laying out by the poolside everyday is also very stressful. Michelle appears frustrated and says, "Who just wakes up with a black eye?" Um, you did. And it doesn't surprise me, because you down right admit that you LOVE attention. Wait, this isn't about fashion! Crap!

Moving on.....

One on One Date:
As usual, Chris Harrison looks great in his plaid button down shirt and a cardigan. GetzStyle Tip: To perfect this "look," wear a white v-neck under the button down and also unbutton the shirt two more buttons. Be sure to pick out the right cardigan because this can be a tricky look! Buy a cardigan at an urban store like Chris did, and not at Eddie Bauer! Pair up this top portion with fitted jeans and some Vans.

Anyway, Chris leaves a date card and we now find out that Chantal gets the one on one date with Brad. As we see Chantal pack, I forgot how nerve racking it was to pack, not only for every date, but for every rose ceremony in case you are sent home! She kept her daytime date attire simple with a baby blue crew neck T-shirt, dark denim jeans, and wedged woven heals. This is one of the many things I love about chilled out Chantal. She is very confident in who she is, and doesn't feel the need to go overboard with jewelry and makeup. She keeps it basic and keeps her attention on Brad. I have one, and only one complaint about Brad's style today:  He is a tall guy with long legs. He needs to wear jeans with a low rise to elongate his torso and not allow him to look like a nerd with hiked up pants. In Chantal and Brad's interviews I notice they are both wearing jackets, so obviously it's pretty chilly out. I can't believe they have to get in the freezing cold water! I feel Chantal's anxiety about the ocean, I mean, it's nature, so you never know what's going to bite you. If anything bites her, hopefully it's just Brad!

After an awkward lack of conversation under the sea, they rise to the surface for dinner. Now they have a great conversation, and Chantal is totally herself which Brad loves. She calls him out on being a geek, and he loves her independence and confidence. Brad is talking about romantic rain (gee, you're lucky you are hot), then he cuts to his rehearsed "rose" speech and Chantal accepts. He tells her to shut up and kiss him. Ahhhhh! So cute! Straight out of a vintage movie:).

I'm team Bradtal. ChanBrad. I will work on a better nickname for next week!

I have to point out Chantal's curly hair, as opposed to her straight hair she sported the entire date during this interview. Is this an indication she spent the night with Brad? Looks like next morning hair to me!

Group Date:
Pointing out that they will be having a session with Dr. Drew, Brad says, "Let's be honest, in therapy I really learned to open up." We believe you, Brad! Trust me, we hear you mention this 25 times an episode and every time you do, I hear an overpaid psychologist dialect. You don't even have any more walls, you only have curtains at this point! Ahhhhh metaphors. I nailed that one. Brad, you are very nice and we all appreciate that, but unfortunately women often need a little bit of an A-hole to keep us in check, so keep maybe like.....half a wall?

GetzStyle Tip: Check out Brad's purple country western woven complete with a black, zip up hoodie. This look is perfect for the casual guy's guy. (Side note: you might also notice that he is also glowing after his night with Chantal)! As we scan the women, I notice a few darling outfits! I also noticed that the two Ashley's were drinking beer before the therapy session and literally laughed out loud. It's probably only 11:00am at this point in the date! Oh hell, it's five o'clock somewhere, Wahoo! Let's get this date started!

Stacey must have thought they were going on a picnic because she wore the tablecloth as her shirt.

Aside from my dislike of the pattern, there is absolutely no shape to this top. If you had one chance to be on TV, what would you wear? Please start thinking about it just in the case The Bachelor is in your future because CLEARLY some of these women did not. I do love Stace though. :) Lindsay's outfit is cute, but should be perfected. She is wearing a denim shirt, red scarf, black tights and cream boots. GtezStyle Tip: Rock a more slim fitting denim top but keep it long like she did. Choose a scarf that is longer in length if you are going to tie it. Pattern tights are huge right now so I would have put her in an opaque pair of colorful patterned tights with tall, dark brown rider boots. She Getz an "A" for effort! In this same frame, we see my future gal pal Jackie in a vintage frock complete with gold trim. So glam, yet so casual! Ashley S. is wearing a feminine plaid button down that is sure to catch the eye of Brad. It subconsciously screams innocence and take me home to Mama! I love Alli's white scarf with spring colors, loosely tied around her neck to compliment her blue, long sleeve fitted top. I also must point out Britt's cowl-neck trendy denim jacket. She looks very NYC! This whole episode, I have noticed many of these ladies rocking scarves. Alli wore a different scarf earlier today that was white with a brown pattern, and Emily wore a yellow scarf earlier as well which was yellow to enhance her tan.

GetzStyle Tip: Scarves are the most important accessory a girl could own.

Scarves can take the most basic outfit to the next level. Make sure when choosing a scarf it is long in length, a good color choice for your skin tone and be sure to style it correctly according to what type of outfit you're wearing. You can wear it sloppy, like Michelle does here for a more casual "just threw this on" type look. She looks effortlessly gorgeous in her multi-colored scarf innertwined with her hair. This date is looking great....style wise that is. This Dr. Drew date is rather exhausting for me. How can you expect these girls to open up in front of a room full of people? They signed up to fall in love, not group therapy. Life stories aren't meant to be told all at once. It takes time and trust to share vulnerabilities with anyone, not a group date with an MTV Doctor. (Side Note: Who is this cute little co-host I spy? Total distraction!). Seriously, he is super fine in his double breasted black cargo button down, red pencil tie, perfectly scrunched sleeves, olive colored skin, one sleeve of tasteful tattoos, and a brain that clearly desires me. I'll take him to go please! Oh Gem... He truly IS outrageous.

As the date goes on, I notice belly button rings and am cringing. Belly button rings are like fake eyelashes to me, super tacky and a "must go." It's 2011, time to take out any piercings unless it's in your ear lobe. As Ashley S. is denied a hug by an upset and irritated Alli, I notice Ashley's white, yellow lined bikini paired up with a casual boyfriend cardigan. GetzStyle Tip: With summer right around the corner, remember to choose swimwear that can also look like an outfit. Buy a scarf and a few other accessories to match your bikini to turn it from swimming to poolside dinner. To sum up the after party: all the girls are on edge, Ashley H. is freaking out and Britt gets the rose.

One on One Date:
Piling on the concealer to hide her black eye, Michelle is upset because, once again, it's not ALL entirely about her. She can't stand that Ashely H. is upset and gets really pissed when Brad takes Ashley away for a second on HER DAY! Brad is styled perfectly casual with a gray crew neck and thermal hoodie underneath a black leather jacket. I'm a huge fan of zip up hoodies incorporated into outfits. GetzStyle Tip: Try pairing a zip up hoodie with a blazer, complete with a basic T-shirt and jeans. This works for male and female alike! Men wear chucks. Women wear a sexy heel when rocking this style.

So I have three overwhelming fears:
1. One is large birds (I know, weird).
2. Polo shirts.
3. Heights.

I literally had to fast forward through their climb down the building because my body started shaking and my veins felt like they were burning from the anxiety of watching this ridiculousness. I briefly pressed "play" only to hear Michelle call Brad "babe." I hate the word "babe." It reminds me of a what a high school cheerleader would call her quarter back boyfriend. There is not a lot to this date other then the obvious attraction Brad has to the beautiful Michelle. We see Michelle in a series of interviews and she is acting so bizarre. You know when you're watching reality TV, or a stand-up comedian perform live and you get so embarrassed for someone that it makes your skin crawl? This is me with Michelle most of the time she speaks. Yes, she is gorgeous but I believe Brad may have been thinking with the wrong head when he gave her the rose.

Rose Ceremony:
Brad's therapist is visiting him again. Perfect timing (I had to step away from the TV to make a quick phone call anyway). I am so proud of Brad for seeking and receiving help. He was already a cool dude, and now is pretty much every woman's dream due to dealing with his issues. With this being said, there is a reason therapy sessions are supposed to be confidential. Hello Yawn Fest 2011!! Because The Bachelor is being filmied non stop, they have so much footage that we never get to see. I wish they showed more of the funny footage rather then Brad's therapy sessions.

I remember on Bachelor Pad, Jesse Beck was my bunk mate and he was taking a nap above me. I laid on the bottom bunk with a T-shit that said "The Bachelor" on it (to make myself look even more desperate due to the fact that I went on TV looking for love!) and I was holding a rose chanting, "he loves me, he loves me not" That never made the air!

Stuff like that would be more entertaining than most. However, it is a TV show about love and in order to follow a story line, they have to cut out some of the funny stuff and save room for the seriousness. There was also a scene with Peyton and I but it's far too inappropriate to discuss! Haha! Awwwww I miss my Peyton. :) Brad's goal this cocktail party is to pull every girl aside that didn't get either a one on one or group date with him this week. He speaks with Chantal and re-assures her that he has incredibly strong feelings for her. He tells her she isn't needy, she is independent, and she keeps him on his toes. Brad needs a girl like Chantal in his life. Team Brantal (still working on it) for life!

Brad pulls Emily aside for a private picnic in front of the mansion. Oooooh BURN! I am not really sure how I am feeling about Emily after this episode. I loved her the past 3 episodes but she didn't seem very excited about Brad's efforts. She is a blonde, southern bombshell that's for sure but, are we being fooled into thinking she is the sweetest girl ever? For instance, her and I could say the same rude statement. She would come off looking sweet, and I would look like the jerk. You know why? Because southern accents sound more sweet then my thick Chicago accent. UGH! Anyway, I don't doubt she is a kind hearted girl, but I am not sure if she is 100% into Brad. Only next week will tell!

Behind-the-Scenes Side Note: I wonder how Emily and Michelle are doing without their children? I couldn't even imagine. They are not allowed to see there children AT ALL during filming and they are only allowed minimal phone conversation which has to be on camera. I know that I couldn't do it, no way. Filming can last up to 3 months!

Rose Ceremony Exits:
I can see during Meghan's conversation with Brad during the cocktail party and that he really loves her as a friend and a person. When he lets her go tonight, I saw this as he hugged her and the expression he had on his face spoke for itself. I am almost positive that these two will be great friends after this is all said and done. Speaking of sweet little Megs, did anyone notice how awkward her walk was out of the mansion? After she did not receive a rose, she was literally representing the Lollipop Guild exiting like an Oompa Loompa.

And then Stacey.....Stacey, Stacey, Stacey, it's alright, girl. Come over to my place next week and make me a martini. We will have fun! See? It's not all bad getting dumped. The fair and beautiful Lindsay exits with grace in her elegant cocktail attire. She is a sweet girl, but boy, someone call the waaaa-mbulance! Dry up those tears, Lindsay! You will have your pick of men anywhere you go. :)

The Good:
Shawntel: I love her bold teel dress with criss-crossed straps to enhance her shoulders and toned arms. Chantal: She kept it simple and conservative in a black, v-necked dress. This fits her shape perfectly and is shorter in length to draw attention to her legs.
Emily: This off the shoulders look is very flattering to her collar bones. Bright blue was a great color choice for her blonde hair. This sexy number fit slim through the body and sat high on her thigh to elongate her legs.
Marissa: The neckline on her dress reaches from one collarbone to the other showing a conservative approach to a sexy dress. Very Jackie-O! I really love this Taupe colored dress and her matching shoes are the perfect finishing touch. Even though this dress is simple, please understand why it is fantastic. The fabric, cut and style of this simple dress make it great. If this were a shiny, cheap looking fabric, it never would have worked.
Brad: He is wearing the palest of pink button down, patterned tie and a very sexy vest. There is nothing better then a man taking off his suit coat only to unveil a vest or better yet, suspenders. Mmmmm hhmmmmmm. Snaps for Brad- click click.

The Bad:
Ashley H: Oh man! I'm so disappointed she wore this! It looks like she just stepped out of the office. The ruffled white sleeveless blouse tucked into a black pencil skirt completely shocked me. I really wasn't prepared for something so extremely off base for a rose ceremony.
Britt: She is absolutely stunning and she can't even pull this dress off. Gisele Bundchen couldn't even pull this off. The pattern reminds me of the fabric of my Grandparents couch when they were living in Arizona in the late 1980's. I think I actually had a few barbie doll dresses like that when I was younger.

The GetzStyle Award this week goes to Bachelor Brad.

Brad never fails me with his charismatic, super cool style. For all you manly men out there, look to Brad as a guide to fashion. He is more dude than most, yet still dresses with a sharp eye. Well, I am falling head over "heels" for some of these ladies and also Dr. Drew's co-host. I will leave you with a few parting words. Be confident, and don't ever sell your "sole" (unless it's a pair of shoes) to get ahead in life. After all, the "shoe" must go on. :) Had to throw that cheese in there!

I will leave you with some quotes: "Eat to please thyself, but dress to please others." - Benjamin Franklin. "Fashion is made to become unfashionable. Fashion fades. Only style remains the same." - Coco Chanel. "Daring, be different, be impractical, be anything that will assert integrity of purpose and imaginative vision against the play-it-safers, the creatures of the commonplace, the slaves of the ordinary.” - Cecil Beaton.

Until next week my lovers of style,
XOXO Natalie Getz

"I know there has been a lot of talk and concern recently over the upcoming episode of The Bachelor with the NASCAR-themed group date," she says. "Although I appreciate everyone's concern, I ask that you reserve judgment until after you've seen the actual episode, because, as you'll see, the experience actually helped me gain some closure...The first few laps were for Ricky," she says. "And the last lap was for me. And I'm just really ready to move on and find love again."

Bachelor Scandals and Spoilers!

'Bachelor' contestant Michelle Money said it was 'wrong' to have an affair with Carlos Boozer.

It's been a busy week in Bachelor scandals!

Here are some of the highlights...
  • Bachelor contestant Michelle Money is opening up about her own mistake – an affair with a then-married NBA  star – in the new issue of Life & Style. Michelle Money, 30, told the magazine she met  Chicago Bulls player, Carols Boozer, and had an affair while he was still married.
  •  Previous Bachelor contestant, Bettina Bell, claims that Brad Womack dumped her before coming on the show in October. "He was pursuing me like crazy, and then out of nowhere he went MIA," Bettina tells Life & Style. Read more here.

Did 'Bachelor' Brad Womack leave Bettina Bell to be on the show?

The Bachelor Brad Womack

Remember Bettina Bell? She was on season 11 of The Bachelor with Brad Womack. Brad took her on an overnight date where she stayed in the fantasy suite with him but he decided not to give her a rose the very next day and she was sent home. Now according to the (semi) reliable magazine, "Life & Style," Brad and Bettina were in a relationship again prior to him filming The Bachelor. He approached her and the two began dating again. Brad broke off the relationship in October when he began filming the new season of The Bachelor.

"He was pursuing me like crazy, and then out of nowhere he went MIA," Bettina tells Life & Style. Check out a copy of Life & Style this week to find out more details!

Chris Harrison Explains why ABC is taking Emily to the Race Track!

On next week's episode of The Bachelor, Brad Womack takes the women to the races. In this interview with TV Guide, Chris Harrison explains why ABC would take windowed, Emily Maynard, on a date to the race track.
You can read the full interview at TVGuide.com!

It looks like next week Brad takes Emily to a racetrack. Given that her late fiancé was a NASCAR driver, why would he — or the producers — choose that specific setting?
Chris Harrison: If you take it at face value, I get why people are angry, but people need to see the date and see how it plays out. This is another watershed, breakthrough moment and it's therapeutic for Brad and Emily. It's a very moving episode and obviously a moving date. It's definitely scary, but again if you play armchair psychologist, it's kind of a hurdle they need to get over. We have to force the issue because we have such a time constraint. It puts Brad on the spot, puts Emily on the spot, like you guys are either going to deal with this and go forward, or it's not going to happen and it's over.

Why is Brad keeping Michelle Money around?
Chris Harrison:
When she's with Brad, she likes to be that girl that's kind of hard to get, is feisty, and guys tend to like that to a certain degree. We'll see if she wears out her welcome, but right now he finds it appealing.

The Bachelor

BACHELOR SPOILER ALERT!

According to Bachelor Blogger, Reality Steve.com, here's what happens next week on The Bachelor! (Sorry folks, Michelle is sticking around for another episode).

The Bachelor takes the remaining women to Las Vegas.

One-on-one Date
Brad Womack takes Shawntel Newton on a one-on-one date to the Vegas fashion mall, and then take a helicopter tour around Vegas (isn't Brad sick of helicopters already?).

Group Date
ABC producers want to create more drama so they take Emily Maynard, whose race car husband died in a plane crash, to the NASCAR races. Drama and tears are sure to happen on this date!

Two-on-one Date
It's a two-on-one date with both Ashleys! Brad takes Ashley Hebert and Ashley Spivey to be in the Cirque de Soleil show, Viva Elvis. One woman stays and one woman does - it's not looking good for Ashley Spivey. It seems Brad gives some confidence to dentist, Ashley Hebert.

The Rose Ceremony:

Brad says goodbye to Marissa May and  Lisa Morrisey (not a big shocker as Lisa and Brad never actually spoke).

The Bachelor Episode 4: Deleted Scenes

What you didn't see last night on THE BACHELOR! Michelle talks about her mysterious black eye.
Lindsey, Meghan and Stacey share their thoughts about going home.

Chris Harrison Blogs: "Michelle's Black Eye"

chris-bachelor-pad
Chris Harrison's weekly Bachelor Blog can be found at EW.com.

This week, Chris Harrison, talks about Michelle's black eye..."Before we deal with the drama, we have to deal with the great mystery this season, Michelle’s black eye. Here’s what we know: Everybody went to bed after the rose ceremony. I returned to the house early the next morning to wake the girls up and send them on their dates. Michelle woke up, looked in the mirror and bam, black eye. The truth is nobody has any idea whatsoever how Michelle got that black eye. I don’t think its possible to get a “stress black eye” as she said, and I don’t think she beat herself up. I’ve mentioned in the past that we don’t have cameras rolling 24/7, and we don’t have secret cameras in the girls’ bedroom. Much like the Bermuda triangle, Hugh Hefner’s upcoming wedding and the Kardashians’ popularity, some things just can’t be explained. It was pretty amusing to see Michelle milk it all week using frozen peas, corn and popsicles to try to keep the swelling down." Read Chris Harrison's full Bachelor Blog here!

Brad Womack's Blog: "Michelle is a Remarkable Woman"

Brad's Bachelor Blog: Michelle Is a 'Remarkable Woman' | Brad Womack

According to The Bachelor's latest blog post for People Magazine, Brad Womack is highly impressed with....Michelle. As in crazy Michelle.  Brad writes about Michelle: "Michelle and I both agreed that repelling down the building in downtown L.A. was the scariest thing we've ever had to do ... EVER. I'll never forget the feeling of swinging my legs over that building and waiting on Michelle to begin. I was petrified with fear but wanted to be strong for her. She was a mess at first – so terrified she was crying uncontrollably. I was so proud of her for conquering her fear! She did it! We both were so exhilarated when we touched the ground below. More importantly, that evening I saw a side to Michelle that I had been waiting to see. She's obviously beautiful but she's also intelligent, mature and I can tell from listening to her that she is an amazing mother. I want to say this: Michelle is catching some flack for being so outspoken during the episodes, but I'd like to let everyone know what a remarkable woman she is. She has a very funny side to her and maybe she "hams it up" a little bit during certain interviews but I like that. There are many, many positive sides to Michelle that haven't been revealed ... yet" You can read Brad Womack's full bachelor blog at People.com.

Brad Womack on The View!

The Bachelor's, Brad Womack, is staying in Texas and so will his bachelorette love. "I have some deep-seeded roots in Austin," Womack, 38, told the ladies of ABC's The View Monday. "And I made that clear. I know love is a compromise, but that's one part of love I just can't compromise."

Madison Garton Speaks to People Magazine!

The Bachelor's Madison: I Didn't Want to Be Brad's Texas Housewife

The Bachelor's Madison Garton is speaking out about her abrupt departure from Brad Womack. In this NEW interview with People Magazine, Madison says that she left after hearing Emily's story and that she didn't want to be Brad's Texas housewife.

From the interview...

When did you decide to leave?
Madison: When I was talking to Ashley on the couch and I started bawling. We were just having a conversation about nothing and all of the sudden I was a wreck. I realized it was probably time for me to go. I had a shaky feeling, and I just didn’t feel right being there.

What's the backstory with the fangs?
Madison: I have always been into the darker side of things and love the mystery and sexiness of vampires. I became friends with the leader of the underground vampire world. He had a fangsmith so I had a pair made. I wore them for Halloween once and had such a blast that I brought them out on numerous occasions afterwards. It has become kind of my signature thing. It was a vote of confidence that Brad was able to handle it. If he couldn’t swallow the fangs, he was not going to swallow the whole [me].

Natalie's Bachelor Blog: Episode Three
By: Natalie Getz

Soooooo many "walls" opening this week as we enter The Bachelor Episode 3, and we get to know these girls a little more. There is so much drama and crying going on that it's bringing me back to my 7th grade lock in. Last night, we took a sip of wine every time we heard someone talk about opening their "walls," and needless to say, I had to take a cab home. Chris Harrison enters the mansion so early, that Ashley H. appears to still be wearing her dress and hairdo from the the night before. (You have no idea how EARLY Chris comes to wake us up! On the Bachelor Pad, we always had a challenge following the night of a rose ceremony at like 7am!).

A couple times, my sister pointed out that my hair looked cute during challenges, and I told her that's because it's still in rose ceremony form from the night before. A lot of the girls would get up early and get ready, But NOT me.

Speaking of Chris Harrison, he is quite the character in real life. He is hilarious and an absolute blast- nothing like the ultra serious Chris you see on TV. I can't even watch Chris with a straight face anymore!

Needless to say, these girls look incredible, even in the morning. Everyone was screaming and acting ridiculous because OMG THE DATE CARD HAD ARRIVED! Between Date Cards and Walls opening up everywhere, I'm struggling watching this episode. Ashley S. gets the one-on-one date with Brad, wahoo!

Ashley S. and Brad's Date:
Cute and casual, Ashley is picked up by Brad and driven to Capitol Records. I actually got to go to Capitol Records recently and watch my friend record a song for his album. It was one of the coolest experiences! It made this date even more fun for me to watch.

Brad and Ashley are beyond adorable as they sing off tune, giggle and flirt. I love when people have fun with karaoke and don't take it serious. They have a fun chemistry! As Seal enters the room and begins singing for the twosome, I finally understand what Heidi Klum is thinking. He is pretty charming and extremely talented. I was definitely near tears as Ashley tells Brad her story. She looked like a sweet, innocent Daddy's girl telling her story and I could see how much she misses her father. :(  After a wonderful evening under the LA smog, these two share a sweet little dance and a romantic smootch. I'm definitely digging these two. They had more of a conversational connection then anyone else.

When I watch these dates, it totally brings back memories of my dates with David Good on Bachelor Pad. Since Dave and I were practically besties before filming the show, we sure had a good time. We actually had a contest to see who could say the most cheesy one liners. I won!

Me: "Our relationship has really sored to new heights today." (I said this in reference to our jet date); and also, "David has really big muscles, and he utilized his biggest one to pitch a big tent tonight (during our overnight date)." I say it with such a ditsy, blonde attitude so it looks like I don't get it. Ha! I'll do anything to make my friends and family laugh. Ah I miss filming that shit-show!

SIDE NOTE: I was told many of you were wondering about me and Dave's relationship status. We were never exclusively dating but we were such good friends with awesome chemistry.

We definitely crossed the friendship line. We tried it out for a hot second but quickly realized we didn't want to ruin our friendship. He lives in Florida and I live in LA. That is too much of a distance to make it work! We still talk a few times a week, and are back to being little mischievous besties:) Besides, David is currently married to himself!

Group Date:
At this point, Michelle has completely lost it. I hope they hide all sharp objects in the mansion or at least have security carefully watch these girls sleep at night. At the beginning of every season, the cast is given an amazing gift bag full of clothes, product, jewelry, etc. I am guessing that's why their clothes all match on their group date. Remember to always look put together, even at the gym! You never know when you will meet Mr. Right! (In my case it doesn't matter, because I work out in Hollywood where boys like boys). As the girls are driven off in the creepiest looking van, I can't help but wonder if Michelle hired a driver and orchestrated this event. Nope. They arrive safely on a movie set where Brad does some of the cheesiest ninja moves and half the girls act entirely too frightened as if they think Brad is really being attacked. Uh, did you forget you were filming a little TV show called "The Bachelor?"

Brad is impressed by Shawntel's acting skills and confidence therefore giving her the rose tonight. They shared a hot kiss but it was not nearly as hot as Brads shirtless torso. (I'm so distracted at this point imagining myself being saved by a sexy Ninja). At the wrap party, Michelle creeps on Alli and Brad's conversation and it's maybe one of the more funny interruptions I've seen (complete with scary music). I'm irritated by Michelle because she is an actress in real life with a role in a small movie coming out soon. I love watching Michelle because she is dramatic and nuts but annoying as well. Chantal is having a very hard time dealing with her feelings for Brad. She is going through what most girls go through on the show. You think it's all fun and games until you develop feelings for a man who is developing feelings for several other girls. I really like Chantal and Brad together.

(Remember there are about 5 to 6 days of filming per episode and the editors have A LOT of footage to use).

Although we haven't seen these two together much, clearly they have developed an incredible connection. I can relate to Chantal, because I often appear tough on the outside but once I like someone enough, I open up and am a total softy. I have to point out how funny I think Alli is as I hear her talk about everything from pit stains to coining Michelle is an "evil bitch." She is a cute girl but I don't see her and Brad working out. When Brad walked away from their conversation to talk to a very rude interrupting Michelle, I realized this. On my season, Jason Mesnick turned down a couple girls who tried to interrupt us during our one-on-one time only to turn around and dump me in Sin City.

PS- If Jason hadn't dumped me in Vegas, I may have never been on the Bachelor Pad and 125k richer. So thank you, Mr. Mesnick:) Jason and Molly are some of my greatest friends now and I love them both dearly. Well, Molly a little more.

Oh for the love of Marc Jacobs- I'm so bored talking about this group date, let's move on... Back at the mansion, I see my future wine-o friend Jackie enter the room with a full glass of red. LOVE HER! Emily looks great in a very basic look with a tossed side braid as she tells the story of her past. I am really, really enjoying Madison. What a sweet, mature, lovable person she is. :)

Madison has really come to show us that you can't judge a girl by her fangs.

It's very hard to be yourself on camera so I am impressed by some of these girls who are so comfortable telling their personal stories! During my run on The Bachelor, I was so camera shy and a nervous wreck. I couldn't be myself and open up. After filming several other reality type shows, I was very comfortable on Bachelor Pad... maybe a little too comfortable in Vegas where I took my bikini top off. But it was a nude pool for crying out loud! It takes a lot of time to learn how to ignore the cameras knowing that millions are watching. Anyhow, we learn that Emily gets the one-on-one date with Brad.

Brad and Emily's Date:
After Brad picks up Emily in "his" car (come one, we know that's not his own car), he whisks Emily off on a private jet to a winery and vacant barn. Totally normal for a first date? Brad states he has been wanting to take Emily out for some time now. Huh? He has only just met her 2 weeks ago! (In Brad's defense, 2 weeks seems like 2 months during filming. What you may not know, is that during filming, production takes away our cell phones, ipods, etc. and we are not allowed to listen to music, get on the Internet, watch TV or read magazines under any circumstances. We are literally trapped and taken away from any sort of normal life. Until you live it, you have no idea how hard it it. It can make you a lot more emotional then normal when you can't talk to your family and friends or do normal daily routines, like go to the gym. I remember during filming Bachelor Pad, someone asked, "Where is Wes?" and I cracked the joke, "Oh he just got back from the gym, made a few phone calls, and is finishing up work on the Internet." I cried so many times simply because I miss talking to my family). This date with Emily could have gone terribly wrong with all the awkward silences.

Thank God Emily opened up because we have another week to stare at this beautiful girl in all of her fashion glory. After the "walls" have opened, Emily gets the rose. Did you all catch the outtakes at the end of the show? Ha! It was so cute when Emily dropped her marshmallow, swore, and continued to correct herself with 3 alternatives to a swear word she should have used. I am really looking forward to watching Brad and Emily's relationship grow. As Meghan put it, "Emily is like an itsy bitsy barbie doll with the sole of Mother Teresa." Nailed it! This date was so perfect!

I wish I had that date with Jason Mesnick verses going to Vegas. I pretended to love Vegas so that Jason didn't feel bad for taking me but I HATE Vegas.

It's dirty, full of sleaze bags, and if it weren't for the Broadway plays, it would be completely boring. There is quite a bit of behind-the-scenes detail none of you know but I'm sure assume because it's a TV show, afterall. Brad spent the afternoon talking to his therapist and the remainder of the night is one big therapy session with all of the girls. I almost can't take it, although I am proud of Brad for swallowing his pride. It takes a strong person to recognize their emotions/issues, understand them, and seek help to deal with them. From here on out, when we see Brad alone talking about his feelings, I think he should be in a hot tub shirtless. It would be hysterical. After Brad brushes past Michelle to go to Chantal, it doesn't take long for Michelle to come and once again rudely interrupt them just before they almost shared another passionate kiss. Dammit it Michelle! You are ruining everything! As Audrey Hepburn once said, "There's never any need for any woman to ogle any man. Ogling only puts the men off. It scares them away. In fact, the faintest flutter of an eyelash should be enough."

Meanwhile we see Madison upset because she doesn't feel right about being there. She pulls Brad aside and the fangs come out, literally. Brad then says one of the best lines in Bachelor history, "You don't have to take your fangs out, I like them." AMAZING. Best "wall opening" moment so far in the show.

Onto the fashion: This is a direct insert from my fashion blog on ABC: (For more of my thoughts regarding fashion throughout the show, please visit the ABC Website and see my other blog for this episode).

The Good:
BFF's Jackie and Marissa look stunning sitting next to each other during cocktail hour. Once again, fashion forward Jackie made me clap, sporting an above the knee, cherry red one strap cocktail dress with a sleek, half up hair do. Her bestie Marissa sported a traditional little black dress with bright red pumps that completely popped. GetzStyle Tip: When wearing an LBD, always wear bright, loud colored shoes!

Madison: WOW! She wore a speechless, completely different, black dress. Check out the design of the dress and how the entire back is showing in a tasteful way. The sleeves come up the shoulders wrapping around her neck and flowing flawlessly down her back. Her bright red lipstick was the perfect touch! She left with honor and style:) I will sincerely miss Madison.

Alli: Choosing a gorgeous shade of blue complete with a HUGE bow, this dress completely suits her cute personality. She tells Brad her gift to him tonight is unwrapping her feelings. Sigh! Adorable:) While this is not something I would wear, I would dress Alli in this. As a stylist, it's important to dress a client appropriate to their personality. I still want to see Alli in something more edgy. Maybe next week?!

Kimberly: I know Betsy Johnson when I see it and I LOVE Kimberly's cocktail dress! The beautiful cut of the sweetheart neckline worked well with spaghetti straps to hoist up her cleavage to a respectable amount. Gathering tight at the waistline, the dress then blossomed out created by tooling under the skirt and hitting just above the knee. She is a gorgeous and sassy girl! She won't have problems finding a guy.

Ashley S: Ashley showed a ultra conservative, sexy side to herself. She showed us a woman can give off sex appeal without showing bare arms and cleavage. This boat neck, long sleeve dress was simply extravagant and sparkly drawing attention to her perfectly toned legs.

And last but certainly not least, EMILY wins the GetzStyle award! As if I wasn't already blown away by her date attire with Brad, she looked absolutely exquisite with a sleek ponytail showing off her gorgeous face and amazing dress. This black, one strap dress had gorgeous detailing as the material gathered at the buttons from the shoulder climbing down to the knee.

The Bad: The fashion is really coming along as the weeks go by! I have been thoroughly impressed and commend these lovely ladies on their eye for style! However, there are always a couple that fall through this cracks. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE CHANTAL, however, not a fan of her dress. Aside from the dress not fitting her shape, the style is boring and the print is terrible.

Lisa M: Aw Lisa. Words can't really describe this fashion crime of a dress you are wearing. Have the Limo drop you off at Kitson on your way home. I will meet you there (fine I live there), and give you a hug, talk about feelings, and most importantly offer you free fashion advice.

Britt: There is really nothing too terrible about your 2002 prom dress, except for the fact that it's 2011. I like the color and the style. Just not for a modern day cocktail party.

Remember everyone, today is not a "dress" rehearsal. Live everyday to the fullest and please make sure you live it with STYLE. "Good things aren't supposed to just fall in your lap. God is very generous, but he expects you to do your part first." -Audrey Hepburn.

NEW Interview with Chris Harrison

chris-bachelor-pad

TV Guide.com interviews Bachelor host Chris Harrison about "crazy" Michelle Money and Madison Garton's abrupt departure.

From the interview...

TVGuide.com: Do you think Michelle is watching the show and realizing how crazy she sounds?
Harrison:
One of two things will happen. She'll either own it and say, "I watched the show and I didn't realize I was like that." Or she will stick to her guns and say, "I was edited, I'm not like that and some people just don't get it."

TVGuide.com: Were you surprised when and why Madison left?
Chris Harrison:
I think she came into this a little superficial and not necessarily sincere. Then when she was slapped in the face with Emily's story, I think she started feeling really guilty about it. In hindsight, if she'd do it again I think she would come in with a completely different perspective, attitude and energy. She realized there are people there who need this and I think she needs it too, but she just realized it a little too late. Madison was doing what Brad did three years ago. She was protecting herself from something, I don't know what, and I think it's why Brad kept her around. Brad even said, "You are making the same mistakes I made and I really hope you'll allow yourself to get to know somebody in the future."

Madison Garton on Why I Left The Bachelor

Madison Garton (also known as Madison McKiney), the actress and model, who left Brad Womack at the rose ceremony last week says she had good reason to leave the show. "Hearing Emily's story, it became very real," Garton told Womack at the cocktail party just prior to the rose ceremony on Monday's show. "It seems like a lot of girls here already have their heart on the line for you and anything I do now would be taking away from them. It could have been very different if I showed my cards and been the real me from the beginning. There's every chance that I'll wake up tomorrow and wonder what the heck I just did." Bachelor Brad Womack Blogs: Week 3 "Madison is More than her Fangs"

Brad Womack's Bachelor Blog: A Night of Revelations

The Bachelor's weekly blog can be found at People.com. This week Brad Womack writes about the rose ceremony and Madison's departure.

"This particular rose ceremony was pretty dramatic. My goal was to allow the women to be comfortable (in order to open up more to me) and it worked! A lot of them made it very clear that strong feelings were developing and that they were here for the right reasons. Which brings me to Madison. She hasn't received enough credit for being a caring, gracious and genuine woman. All anybody is talking about are her damn fangs! Madison truly cares about other people – almost more than she cares about herself. We had an interesting conversation during the cocktail party and I didn't know where she stood after that. Well, I soon found out. When Madison decided to leave, I was surprised and very disappointed. I was hoping to get to know her better. I can only assume that she has many qualities that I would have liked. Obviously, I'm someone who can commend a person for walking away from something (or someone) that doesn't feel right. I'm proud of Madison for admitting that she simply didn't have feelings that warranted her possibly receiving a rose that could have gone to another woman."  Read the full blog post here!

The Bachelor Episode 3: So long Madison's Fangs

chris-bachelor-pad

Chris Harrison's Bachelor Blog can be found each week at EW.com.

What Chris Harrison thinks of Madison's departure.... "After a great week of dates and talking to his therapist, Brad was in a great mood for the cocktail party. All of a sudden he really seemed to have a handle on this situation and had a very clear plan on how he was going to handle this from here on out. At the party Ashley H’s struggles with “first date syndrome” were clearly getting worse. She’s feeling more and more insecure by the day. As for Madison her exit was really unexpected. I really think she convinced herself during the rose ceremony. I find her very intriguing. I look forward to talking to her at the Women Tell All special because like Brad I can’t quite figure her out. Did she come on this show for her 15 minutes of fame and then all of a sudden feel guilty about it after hearing Emily’s story? Did she come on the show with her defenses up (the fangs), putting on a show, not really letting everybody in — only to realize she made a big mistake and blew a good chance? All I know is there’s a lot more to this woman than meets the eye, and to Brad’s credit he saw it right away. My only hope is whatever her motivation, she learned a valuable life lesson from this experience and can grow from here."  Full bachelor recap here!
